These lessons help children explore Jesus’ teachings in the Sermon on the
Mount in ways they can understand, relate to, and practice. Each Beatitude
highlights an attitude or way of living - like being kind, helping others, showing
gratitude, or forgiving - things children can see in their own lives.
Each lesson includes a consistent, easy-to-use structure:
•For the Leader - A brief grounding reflection and guidance to help
prepare you for the theme and set the tone for the week.
•Scripture - A short scripture reading.
•Opening Questions - Simple, open-ended questions that invite
curiosity and help children connect the theme to their own lives.
•Activity - A hands-on activity that helps children experience the
theme through movement, creativity, or play.
•Closing Questions - Gentle questions to help children reflect, share,
and carry the theme beyond Kids Time.

These lessons are intentionally flexible and adaptable. You can adjust activities,
questions, and examples for different ages, group sizes, and settings. Our goal
is that each child will leave with a practical understanding of what it means to
live like Jesus, one Beatitude at a time, while you, as the leader, are grounded
and prepared to guide them.
