Transform your worship space into an immersive Lenten experience. This complete digital download gives you everything you need to set up five beautifully designed, Scripture-rooted prayer stations — each one connected to a meal Jesus shared in the Gospel of Luke. Print, set up, and let your congregation encounter the season in a whole new way.
Lent is a season that calls us to do more than sit and listen — it invites us to stop, touch, taste, and pay attention. These five prayer stations bring that invitation to life. Each station pairs a passage from Luke's Gospel with a hands-on action, so participants don't just hear the story — they step into it.
Designed to be used on Ash Wednesday, at a midweek gathering, or Sunday morning after worship, the stations can be completed individually, as a family, or as a congregation — all at their own pace. Everything you need to run the experience is included in the download, along with a detailed Leader's Guide that walks you through setup, supplies, and leader notes for each station.
The five stations
Station 1 — Guest of Honor · Luke 5 · Accepting the invitation
Participants fill out a beautifully designed RSVP card to formally accept Jesus' invitation into the Lenten season — and name what might get in the way. Pastors pray over the collected cards.
Station 2 — Eating on the Run · Luke 6 · Slowing down
Participants take a small snack to stash for a busy day ahead — a tangible reminder that even small moments of connection with God matter.
Station 3 — Sharing is Caring · Luke 9 · Abundance and offering
Using the printable watercolor bread and fish cards, participants write down one thing they can share this season and place it in the basket as an offering.
Station 4 — It's Time for a Party · Luke 14 · Radical welcome
Using the printable place cards, participants write their name and the name of someone they want to invite — then add both cards and two chairs to a shared table at the front of the room. The table grows as the congregation participates.
Station 5 — Clean Up on Aisle… · Luke 19 · Making amends
Participants intentionally make a small spill and slowly wipe it up — a tactile, embodied reminder that repair takes effort, and that Jesus walks with us as we make things right.
